Job summary

Savills Future Talent is seeking an Engineering Sandwich Placement Student in London starting September 2027. You will join the Design & Projects team within the Engineering and Design Consultancy and gain hands-on experience across MEP design, site surveys, and client presentations.

This one-year placement offers structured training, exposure to UK standards, and collaboration with chartered engineers. Salary is £29,000 for the year, with benefits including a company mobile and 25 days leave.

Qualifications

• Enrol and begin active progress towards your qualification
• Complete all required induction training (including mandatory training on MyLearning)

Responsibilities

• Provide input on design strategy and conceptual designs.
• Undertake design calculations.
• Undertake site inspections and understand its challenges
• Design installations to meet all relevant British Standards and Building Regulations
• Design installations to meet energy efficiency and low carbon requirements
• Collaborate with team to meet project briefs and programmes
• Support other engineering team members across vertical transportation, security, intelligent buildings, BACS etc.
