Job summary

Kinetic plc in Newcastle is recruiting a Trainee Recruitment Consultant to join the North-East team. No prior recruitment experience is required as a structured training programme is provided to develop your recruitment and commercial skills.

You will start by learning candidate-side recruitment, supporting a stable client base, and progressively taking on client relationships, account management and business development to run your own desk.

Qualifications

• No recruitment experience required; structured training and development programme provided.
• Training progresses from candidate-focused to client-facing and business development responsibilities.
• Learning is supported by a Level 3 Recruiter Apprenticeship programme.

Responsibilities

• Assist with candidate recruitment and resourcing in the early stage.
• Search for candidates using job boards, database, referrals and social media.
• Interview prospective candidates and build candidate pipelines.
• Match candidates to vacancies and develop relationships with candidates and temporary workers.
• Support experienced consultants and learn about clients, sites and recruitment requirements.
• Develop commercial awareness and understand recruitment margins.
• Progress to managing your own recruitment desk with time.
