Job summary

Ctrl Alt is hiring a Recruiter to lead engineering hiring as we scale our on-chain infrastructure for capital markets. You will own the engineering hiring pipeline across backend, blockchain, and financial systems, partner with engineering leaders, and shape evaluation criteria and market expectations.

You will work with the Talent team across Belfast and London, driving sourcing strategies and improving interview processes, with opportunities to influence product and other functions as we grow.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, with a strong track record of hiring software engineers, in-house or agency.
• Understand engineering well enough to tell a lead from a senior and to verify candidate claims.
• Built pipelines for hard-to-fill technical roles through direct sourcing rather than generic applications.

Responsibilities

• Own the engineering hiring pipeline end-to-end, across multiple live roles.
• Run intake meetings with engineering leaders to define role level, profile, and salary target.
• Build sourcing strategies for scarce profiles and perform proactive outreach.
• Assess candidates with technical judgment and provide clear recommendations.
• Improve the interview process and keep decisions well evidenced.
• Coach interviewers on running effective interviews and providing real feedback.
• Advise managers on market conditions, salary expectations, and hybrid/location trade-offs.
• Manage offers and references, ensuring timely decisions.
