We are actively looking for an Engineering background Quality Management & Systems Specialist to join our Quality Management team. As part of the Quality Management Group, the Quality Management & Systems Specialist provides global support to staff, ensuring the company's quality management policies, standards, and procedures (QMS) are understood, implemented, maintained, and improved. The role collaborates with the Director, Quality and Management Systems to monitor, measure, and evaluate company-wide quality performance and drive continual improvement. This includes developing, implementing, and maintaining the QMS to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, evaluating existing processes, identifying areas for improvement, and ensuring products and services meet established quality standards and client expectations. The location of the applicant is flexible as this person's role would service all Moffatt & Nichol offices globally.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Responsible for the implementation, compliance and continual improvement of the ISO standards required by the organization in the service segment as determined by company policies.
- Collaborate on the development of internal audit plans, conduct internal quality audits and collaborate with business unit leaders and staff to develop action plans and address audit findings.
- Collaborate on the development and analysis of statistical measurements of internal audits, KPIs, and regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement improvements based on audit findings.
- Identify continual improvement initiatives, collaborate with senior management and project managers to identify related solution-based improvements.
- Collaborate with the Director, Quality and Management Systems and contribute to the development of the annual plan for company-wide quality management and improvement objectives, performance, communications, and improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate on the development, maintenance, and improvement of QMS and EMS documentation.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of quality training and orientation sessions.
- Oversee and verify compliance with organizational standards for quality, safety, occupational health, and the environment.
- Perform alignment reviews to ensure information is consistent throughout the QMS/EMS and meets ISO requirements.
- Assist in data collection, evaluation, analysis and reporting related to M&N business context and risk, interested parties’ feedback, client satisfaction and company-wide quality management and improvement performance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related technical field.
- 10+ years of experience working with ISO management systems in a professional service organization.
- Proficiency in internal auditing of quality management systems and environmental management systems.
- Lead Auditor Certification in all of the following certifications: ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001.
- Working knowledge of UK legislation in relation to Health & Safety.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications and Adobe, as well as technical writing and office automation.
- Excellent time management, multitasking, and organizational skills, with a focus on documentation and record control.
- Ability to work in various time zones, prioritize responsibilities, and adapt to changes in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent collaboration, communication, and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English and Spanish being beneficial.
- Experience in auditing quality and environmental management systems, analyzing audit findings, and implementing improvement actions.
- Proficiency in math principles, predictive models, and tools, as well as the ability to provide critical review for technical documents.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation).
- Availability and willingness to travel.
- All new hires will be required to successfully complete and pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check in compliance with NIST 800-171.
Working conditions:
Sedentary for prolonged periods of time, interact with clients, and travel occasionally.
