Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in Gillingham, Kent, is seeking a Quality Manager to join their established engineering site. Reporting to the Factory Manager, the role is hands-on and stands alone within the quality function, working with inspectors and shop-floor staff to maintain and improve quality systems and processes.

You will drive continuous improvement, conduct internal and external audits, manage goods-in inspections and calibration, and maintain up-to-date SOPs and QMS documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in a quality assurance/quality engineering role within manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of ISO9001 and quality systems.
• Good problem solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining quality procedures.
• Driving continuous improvement strategies.
• Conducting audits to ensure compliance.
• Goods-In inspection.
• Liaising with Sales team to resolve customer issues.
• Implementing corrective and preventative actions.
• Maintaining accurate quality records.
• Calibrating quality control equipment.
• Carrying out internal audits and reviewing SOPs and QA documentation.
• Developing the QMS in line with continuous improvement.
