Join a team within the global Tech Deployment organization supporting product owners such as Amazon Robotics and Amazon Fulfillment Technologies to deploy automation technologies at scale. Collaborate with Technical Program Managers and Engineering Program Managers to develop deployment procedures and documentation during the product development cycle, increasing team efficiency. Working on diverse technologies annually will accelerate your learning by engaging with various stakeholders and technical environments.

Create, improve, and utilize processes and templates to enhance the quality of deliverables and team efficiency. This role requires extensive travel (~50%) to locations across Europe and occasionally internationally.

This position can be based in Berlin, Luxembourg, or London.

Key job responsibilities

• Work directly with Technical and Engineering Program Managers to create deployment deliverables such as work instructions, logistics plans, and checklists for new technologies.
• Utilize and improve processes and templates to drive quality and efficiency within the team.

A day in the life

As Deployment Readiness, you will ensure that deployment teams have all necessary information, documents, and requirements to deploy new technologies at scale. You will support Program Managers working closely with Product Developers like Amazon Robotics and Amazon Fulfillment Technologies, as well as downstream teams such as Deployment, Engineering, and Safety. You will support multiple technologies to enhance efficiency and facilitate knowledge transfer within the team and across stakeholders.

About the team

Tech Deployment is a global organization providing services to Product Developers for deploying new automation technologies at scale, post product development. Your team, Deployment Readiness, ensures each product is accompanied by essential deployment deliverables, including work instructions, resource plans, and safety requirements.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience managing projects, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.
• Experience in project management disciplines including scope, schedule, and quality.
• Experience working directly with engineering teams.
• University Degree in Engineering or related science/technology field.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with roadmap strategy and definition.
• Experience in program management working directly with software engineering teams.
• Experience managing cross-functional programs and release schedules.
• Master's degree in Engineering or related science/technology field.
