Job summary

Cerulean, headquartered in Milton Keynes, UK, seeks a Project Manager to join our Innovation and Development team. You will partner with Product Managers, Sales Managers and Engineering Team Managers to manage and deliver projects from inception to production or customer delivery, including prototyping and proof-of-concept work.

The role demands a proactive, hands-on leader with 8–9 years of overall experience across engineering contexts, capable of steering scope, budget and timelines, guiding

Qualifications

• Qualified to degree level in Electrical, Electronic, Robotic Engineering or Mechatronics.
• At least 4-5 years of project management experience within engineering or product development.
• Hands-on technical experience in engineering, design, automation, robotics or related complex industries.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Managing product development projects from inception to deployment in line with business strategy.
• Leading multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative engineering solutions within scope, budget and timelines.
• Planning, coordinating activities, resources and deliverables to achieve milestones.
• Managing risks, constraints and dependencies with mitigation plans.
• Central coordination between Engineering, Manufacturing, Service, Sales, Marketing, Suppliers and Customers.
• Advising sponsors on technical and commercial risks and delivery challenges.
• Participating in design reviews and driving continuous improvement in PM processes.
