How the role will make an impact:

To lead the business through the implementation of advanced product quality planning techniques into existing projects, working closely with engineering, quality, and product management departments.

Main Tasks & Responsibilities:

  1. Join an evolving engineering team, reporting to the Engineering Project Management Lead, in a dynamic, global, multi-project environment.
  2. Manage several active engineering projects.
  3. Plan, coordinate, and review project activities, utilizing process knowledge, risk management, and product understanding to ensure successful, on-time delivery.
  4. Define specific technical objectives with teams from the start, considering product function, cost, quality, risks, and validation plans. Collaborate effectively with Engineers, Product Managers, Sales, Quality, Testing, and international manufacturers/suppliers.
  5. Contribute to continuous improvement and development of project processes, applying lessons learned and promoting lean project delivery.
  6. Adapt to fast-paced change management scenarios, custom project setups, and flexible scoping of work.

Key Skills:

  • Technical degree in Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
  • Proven experience managing engineering or product development projects on a multinational scale.
  • Strong IT and presentation skills, including proficiency with MS Project and standard MS applications.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective liaising and negotiation with internal customers, managers, and engineers.
  • Fundamental understanding of mechanical product development processes.
