As an Engineering Project Manager you will deliver the capital of the Capital plan, work closely with internal and external stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered successfully. You will support in scoping concepts & developing solutions through to capex writing, submission, and management of projects. You will be accountable for project completion including contractor management, KPI sign off and ‘customer’ acceptance.


Responsibilities

  • Accountability for financial control of projects.
  • Leadership of project groups including technical and non-technical roles.
  • Management of on-site contractors including permit writing.
  • Safe delivery of projects within time and budgetary constraints.

Qualifications

  • Involved or responsible for small (<£100m) to med (£1mm) scale capital projects.
  • Technical / Engineering background.
  • Project Management and planning skills (knowledge of project management theory and processes).
  • Experience of H&S processes (permit writing / risk assessments / ATC / ATO).
  • Knowledge / experience of the CAPEX process.
  • Knowledge / understanding of CDM regulations.
  • Computer literate (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access, Project, CAD - preferred).
