***This role requires you to be on-site in Capenhurst near Chester (CH1 6ES), please apply ONLY if you live within a reasonable commuting distance***

About the role:

The Engineering Project Manager (EPM) plays a central role in helping EA Technology bring great products to market. Acting as a key integrator between Engineering, Product, Marketing, Commercial and Operational teams, the EPM ensures that initiatives progress smoothly from concept to customer.

  • Support the full product development lifecycle, helping align technical teams with business goals and ensuring roadmap items are delivered with quality, visibility and market readiness
  • Focus on collaboration, removing blockers and driving continuous improvement; all in support of building impactful, successful products
  • Whilst initially focused on our rapidly growing VisNet Monitoring product family, the EPM role may expand to support projects across the wider business
  • Build and maintain transparent project plans that support roadmap execution
  • Work with Engineering Leads and Product Management to clarify scope, align timelines and sequence deliverables
  • Identify and manage risks, dependencies and changes constructively to maintain momentum
  • Collaborate with commercial and operational stakeholders to ensure engineering outputs are market-ready
  • Facilitate smooth handoffs between disciplines (hardware, firmware, software, infrastructure)
  • Support product readiness across go-to-market functions including documentation, pricing, compliance and customer onboarding
  • Provide regular, transparent updates to internal and external stakeholders
  • Contribute to planning and review sessions that keep teams aligned and motivated

What we’ll need from you:

  • Significant experience in project or delivery management within a technical environment
  • Understanding of multi-disciplinary product development (hardware, embedded software, SaaS, etc.)
  • Strong communicator and facilitator, comfortable working across departments
  • Confident using project planning tools (Gantt, Kanban, or equivalent)
  • Organised and pragmatic, with a track record of delivering value
  • Familiarity with physical product lifecycles, including supply chain and manufacturing aspects would be distinctly advantageous
  • Exposure to AI-based tools for project support would also be an advantage

What we can offer you:

At EA Technology, we believe in growing with our people. In addition to a great working environment, we offer you:

  • Up to £60,000 p.a.
  • Career development opportunities: We offer genuine pathways for growth within our company.
  • Work-life balance: With flexible working options, we support our employees in balancing their professional and personal lives.
  • Holidays: 25 days of annual leave, plus bank holidays, with an extra day for every three years completed (up to a maximum of 30 days). Ability to buy an additional 5 days.
  • Pension contributions of 8% from the employer (or cash equivalent).
  • Comprehensive benefits, including Group Life Insurance, Income Protection, and Critical Illness cover (or cash equivalents).
  • Private Medical Insurance (single cover or cash equivalent).
  • A truly collaborative and supportive work environment where amazing colleagues inspire each other every day.
