Job summary

Jobtailor in the United Kingdom is seeking a Support Senior PM/PMO professional to drive data-driven execution of engineering development programmes. You will collect and report QCD performance data, maintain dashboards and KPI reports, and coordinate governance materials across UK, France, and US teams.

The role requires 5+ years in PMO/coordination within engineering, strong data skills, and proficiency with Planisware, Excel, and Power BI.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a PMO or project coordination role within an engineering or technically complex environment.
• Ability to collect, manage, and accurately present project performance data, including cost tracking, schedule monitoring, and KPI reporting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project or equivalent scheduling tools, Excel including pivot tables and data analysis, and Power BI or equivalent reporting platforms.
• Strong organisational skills and disciplined approach to data quality, action tracking, and process adherence.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Degree-level qualification in Engineering, Project Management, Business, or closely related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and demonstrable work experience.
• APQP and aerospace quality standards experience desirable.
• PMQ, PMP, or equivalent qualification, or willingness to work towards one, desirable
• Experience with Agile project management methodology in an engineering development context desirable
• French language skills at working proficiency beneficial

• Support Senior Project Managers and Project Managers (Technical) in structured, consistent, data-driven execution of engineering development programmes
• Collect, consolidate, validate, and report QCD performance data across assigned projects
• Maintain project dashboards and monthly KPI reports covering cost, milestones, deliverables, and Key Decision Dates
• Identify variances against project baselines and support corrective action proposals
• Prepare governance packs, Steering Committee presentations, and cross-site reporting submissions
• Maintain APQP deliverable maturity trackers
• Support project schedule maintenance in Planisware OSMOZ at Work Package level
• Coordinate schedule update cycles, chase inputs, and flag schedule risks or slippages
• Maintain milestone plans, development logic flowcharts, baselines, and change-request documentation
• Coordinate schedule alignment across UK, France, and US teams
• Maintain project risk and opportunity registers and track action closure
• Support Engineering Change Requests and Change Notices in the PLM system
• Prepare risk and margin analysis summaries for project reviews
• Deploy and improve project management methods, tools, and processes across the PCE Office
• Develop and maintain Planisware configurations, reporting templates, Power BI dashboards, and Excel tracking tools
• Provide user support and coaching on project management tools and processes
• Support portfolio workload and capacity management
• Contribute to continuous improvement, lessons learned, PMO audits, governance rituals, and compliance with Safran standards

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a project management support, PMO, or project coordination role within an engineering or technically complex environment
• Ability to collect, manage, and accurately present project performance data, including cost tracking, schedule monitoring, and KPI reporting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project or equivalent scheduling tools, Excel including pivot tables and data analysis, and Power BI or equivalent reporting platforms
