Job summary

Yolk Recruitment is assisting an established engineering business in Cardiff to recruit a Project Controller. You’ll coordinate across engineering, production, purchasing, quality, planning and finance to keep major long-term contracts on track.

Early in the role you’ll learn products, contracts and processes, then take ownership of day-to-day project activity and deliverables, with opportunities for career development in a growing operation.

Qualifications

• Strong Excel skills with experience in project data and schedules.
• Confident communication with cross-functional teams across engineering, production and finance.
• Willingness to learn and develop in a practical project management environment.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day execution and delivery of major engineering projects.
• Maintain and track project plans, milestones and deadlines.
• Coordinate activities across engineering, production, purchasing, quality, planning and finance.
• Liaise with planning to align production schedules with delivery requirements.
• Provide project updates and manage risks and issues.
