Job summary

Primark Stores Limited is seeking an Engineering Product Specialist to support and enhance Treasury Management Systems. You will provide Level 3 incident management, configuration and reporting work, and collaborate with Treasury teams and vendors to ensure business continuity and regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes automation, monitoring, resilience, and operational excellence within a hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• 8-12+ years of experience supporting Treasury Management Systems and operations.
• Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket for agile delivery and collaboration.
• Strong knowledge of SDLC methodologies and distributed enterprise systems.
• Experience with high-availability architectures, disaster recovery, and operational resilience.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills for complex Treasury environments.
• FIS Integrity certification and ATS scripting experience are highly desirable.

What You’ll Do as an Engineering Product Specialist

We want you to feel challenged and inspired. Here, you’ll develop your skills across a range of responsibilities:

• Provide Level 3 support for Treasury Management Systems, managing complex incidents, major incident resolution, security incidents, and on‑call support in line with Incident Management processes.
• Develop, test, and implement system configurations, customisations, reporting solutions, and ATS script changes to enhance system stability, performance, and functionality.
• Collaborate with Treasury teams, vendors, and cross‑functional engineering teams to support business continuity, disaster recovery, failover activities, and operational stability.
• Analyze and validate vendor software releases, ensuring compliance with governance, security, service acceptance, operational readiness, and regulatory requirements.
• Drive engineering excellence through automation, process optimisation, monitoring, observability, resilience, reliability improvements, and technical debt reduction initiatives.
• Maintain operational standards, documentation, and compliance with security, GDPR, audit, and IT governance policies while meeting key performance metrics such as MTTR, Change Failure Rate, and deployment lead times.

• 8-12+ years of experience supporting and enhancing Treasury Management Systems, with a strong understanding of Treasury operations, processes, and controls.
• Hands‑on experience with the Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket) or similar tools for Agile project delivery, incident management, and collaboration.
• Solid knowledge of Agile Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodologies and experience working with distributed, enterprise‑scale systems.
• Proven understanding of high‑availability architectures, disaster recovery, business continuity planning, and operational resilience practices.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to support complex Treasury system environments and critical business processes.
• FIS Integrity certification and ATS scripting experience are highly desirable, with the ability to develop, customise, and maintain Treasury application solutions.
