Job summary

Apple Inc. in the United Kingdom is seeking an Engineering Project Manager for Developer Tools (Component) to orchestrate planning, tracking, and cross‑team alignment across Xcode tooling teams.

You will help deliver debugging and compiler tooling across iOS, macOS, watchOS, tvOS, and visionOS apps, guiding schedules, releases, and quality targets. The role requires strong communication, leadership, and experience with software development lifecycles, scripting, and familiar with Git and Slack.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in software engineering and project management.
• Experience managing software development projects.
• Familiarity with compiler tech and developer tools.
• Proficient in scripting (Python or Perl) on UNIX.
• Excellent communication and organization.

Responsibilities

• Create detailed project plans, schedule, and status documentation.
• Communicate changes, top issues, risks and progress to executive leadership.
• Coordinate with cross-functional stakeholder groups to unblock engineering teams.
• Drive projects to completion across multiple product releases.
• Automate repetitive tasks and drive process improvements.
• Operate internal tools and bug tracking software to update plans as needed.
