Job summary

An engineering company is seeking a Planner to join their supply chain department in Milton Keynes. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of orders, managing customer inquiries, and coordinating with production. Ideal candidates will have experience in planning roles, knowledge of MRP systems, and preferably a background in the automotive industry. This position offers a salary range of £20,000 - £22,000 p.a. along with benefits including holiday and pension.

Qualifications

• Ideally work experience as a planner.
• Experience working with MRP systems.
• Experience within the automotive industry is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for receiving and entering customer enquiries.
• Verify batch quantities and lead times.
• Amend prices where necessary.
• Expedite material and communicate with production manager.
• Schedule material requirements considering lead times.
• Liaise with production regarding completion dates.
