Nestlé is offering a 12-month Engineering Placement Scheme in the UK, focused on Electrical, Automation or Digitalisation. You’ll join factory teams in maintenance and project engineering, gaining hands-on experience across state-of-the-art technology and processes.

Salary is £26,000 per annum with excellent benefits. The placement runs five days a week in UK factory locations, with supportive mentorship and clear routes into the wider engineering function.

Work Pattern: Full time, 5 days per week in the factory

What will you do?

Joining the Engineering Placement Scheme at Nestlé, will see you embark on an exciting 12-month journey gaining experience and exposure across different categories. Focused on maintenance and project engineering you’ll have the chance to engage and work with our state-of-the-art technology, processes, and equipment whilst playing an active role in the factory teams' initiatives to improve operational efficiencies.

We will support you to develop your engineering knowledge by providing varied experiences across a range of scenarios and projects, allowing you to apply your theoretical knowledge to specific engineering situations. Collaborating with a diverse team of skilled engineers, you will play an important role in supporting the advancement of our digital transformation initiatives, equipping you with the tools and knowledge to have a meaningful impact. You will also work to optimise key performance metrics including output, energy consumption, water usage, and compliance standards.

What will you learn?

• Adaptability: Embrace the opportunity to collaborate with diverse teams, cultures, and operational processes as you rotate through different role placements.

Eligibility requirements

You will need to have the right to work in the UK that is not time-limited and does not require sponsorship under the Skilled Worker route either at the start of the scheme or on completion.

You’ll need to be in your penultimate year of university studying towards one of the following degree disciplines, Electrical Engineering, Digitalisation Engineering or Manufacturing Technology (or a related engineering discipline). You will be mobile across the UK. What’s also important is your commitment to the scheme and your willingness to learn.
