Engineering Physicist - Sensors - Cambridge

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced engineering physicist to join a new team in Cambridge to work on their revolutionary sensor technologies.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design, fabrication, and testing of electronic modules for sensing in harsh environments.
  2. Identify and resolve issues with the technology.
  3. Measure and analyze device performance.
  4. Integrate modules into larger oil and gas sensors.
  5. Develop demonstrations and contribute to field deployment.
  6. Lead development using signal processing and electronics expertise.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in electronics, physics, or a closely related discipline.
  • Hands-on R&D experience with sensors.
  • Experience with MEMS, signal processing, and low-noise, precision electronics design.
  • Exposure to high-temperature electronics design is desirable.
