Job summary

The University of Sheffield is seeking a knowledge exchange professional to join the Research, Partnerships & Innovation team. You will support business development, prospect new relationships and help translate research into impact across the faculties.

You will collaborate with academic teams, manage stakeholder relationships, and drive KE funding opportunities, ensuring delivery against university priorities.

Qualifications

• A degree (or equivalent experience), ideally in a relevant discipline.
• Knowledge of, or willingness to learn about, REF/KE and funder requirements.
• Strong understanding of knowledge exchange activities and how to deliver them.
• Diplomacy, negotiation and influencing skills; ability to build relationships.

Responsibilities

• Support business development and prospecting of new relationships.
• Promote KE, Innovation and Impact and support academics.
• Embed KE and Impact in research funding applications.
• Support bids and internal/external Knowledge Exchange funds.
