Dovetail and Slate is seeking an Engineering Operative Assessor in East Riding of Yorkshire. You will deliver high-quality apprenticeship training within the Engineering Operative pathway, guiding learners from their first day to successful completion and ensuring alignment with the Apprenticeship Standard.

Engineering Operative Assessor

Permanent - Full time

Location: East Riding of Yorkshire

Salary: £30,000 - £33,000 per annum

About the Role

You’ll join an education provider to deliver high-quality apprenticeship training within the Engineering Operative pathway, supporting apprentices from their first day through to successful completion.

You’ll manage your own caseload, building strong working relationships with learners and employers while ensuring every apprentice receives the guidance and feedback they need to progress.

• Manage an individual apprentice caseload, including learning, assessment, reviews and timely completions.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum Level 2/3 qualification in Engineering Operative Maintenance or equivalent
• Strong practical engineering background and experience of the trade
• Ability to engage, motivate and support learners

Desirable (but not essential):

• Assessor or IQA qualification
