Job summary

Morson Group on behalf of our client seeks an Engineering Operations Manager in the London area, with travel to different sites as required. The role blends commercial insight with client relationship management and operational delivery of engineering maintenance services.

It requires leadership in safety compliance, performance management, and successful delivery of contracted services. Temporary to permanent, with hourly pay options (£36.47–£48.15) and strong focus on continuous improvement

Qualifications

Technical qualifications in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering are required.
IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent Health & Safety qualification preferred.
Desirable: IWFM, RICS, or equivalent professional qualifications.

Responsibilities

Develop and own strategic account plans and manage risk registers.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives and oversee contract renewals.
Lead safety compliance, audits, and statutory inspections.
Manage contract variations and monitor financial performance.
Coordinate vendor relationships and deliver monthly performance reports and QBRs.
Oversee resource management, including out-of-hours rotas, training matrices, and vehicle management.
