A local authority in the UK is seeking a candidate for a lead role in managing road infrastructure assets. The position requires strong planning, organisational, and communication skills, as well as a Degree, HND, or HNC qualification. The postholder will take a lead role in how we manage our roads infrastructure assets, supporting the Assistant Group Manager in delivery and development of our road asset management policies and processes. You will possess and demonstrate good interpersonal and communication skills, be able to plan, organise and prioritise work and be able to meet deadlines. Previous experience in a relevant operational or technical role in an appropriate field, experience in roads asset management, planning and work management systems, IT skills and the ability to work alone or as part of a team is essential. A Degree/HND/HNC or equivalent qualification is essential.
