Job Title: Engineering Manager – Systems Engineering

What you’ll be doing:

Your skills and experiences:

  • Proven experience in the Leadership and management of teams, preferably in the context of complex system development

  • Experience in the application and development of Systems Engineering tools and techniques, including the following:

    • Management of complex tasks through dispersed teams

    • System Engineering Principles and ways of working

    • Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) Techniques

    • Architectural Frameworks

    • Systems Engineering Processes

    • Project controls and risk management

  • Experience of managing offload contracts/resource

  • Science Technology Engineering Mathematics (STEM) degree qualified

The Systems Engineering Transformation (SET) team:

Our team is at the forefront of transforming systems engineering within the business and key programmes. We are committed to modernizing our approach by implementing industry best practices and innovative techniques. Focused on evolving engineering processes, we aim to revolutionize the way we work, ensuring alignment with cutting-edge methodologies to drive efficiency and excellence across our programmes.

You will be leading one or more aspects of the SET project related to diverse Systems Engineering topics such process and information frameworks, architecture and modelling, system maturity and business capability. You will be pivotal in managing how the SET product and deliverables integrate into wider business processes, delivering long term business change.

We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
