The Engineering Assurance Manager is responsible for technical assurance across the Dreadnought programme. The role involves rationalising technical assurance activities across parties and ensuring Dreadnought integrates coherently with SDA/RR changes through the Futures Programme.

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead the Dreadnought Alliance Tier 1 (SDA/Customer) Engineering Assurance.
• Develop the Engineering Management Plan and the Engineering Assurance Management Plan in response to the formation of the Joint Design Authority, maintaining updates through a defined review cycle.
• Develop the Joint Design Authority Technical Governance Process to replace the Approving Authority Technical Governance Process.
• Manage the Dreadnought Alliance Technical Governance, overseeing the transition to the Joint Design Authority Technical Governance, ensuring delivery and secure storage of outputs.
• Provide assurance that the Technical Risk Management arrangements reflect current and future technical risks within the programme.
• Background in engineering assurance or equivalent experience.
• Maritime engineering experience or equivalent.
• Degree qualified in engineering or STEM, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in risk management.
