Job summary

Yuno is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the Integrations team, connecting Yuno's platform to PSPs, acquirers, and payment gateways worldwide. This hands-on leadership role blends technical direction with people management to build scalable payments infrastructure in a fast-moving, global environment.

You'll mentor engineers, own system architecture, and collaborate with Product, Backend, and Payments teams to deliver reliable, secure integrations at scale across Europe and beyond.

Qualifications

• Minimum Qualifications: Engineering leadership with experience growing teams.
• Technical decisionking in fast-paced environments.
• Payments expertise and familiarity with PSP integrations.
• Deep experience with payments infrastructure, including routing and optimization.
• Backend engineering proficiency in Java, Golang, Kotlin, or similar.
• Architecture knowledge: microservices, event-driven designs, APIs, integration patterns.
• Relational databases experience.
• Security best practices (OWASP).
• Experience in AI-assisted coding and automated testing is desired.
• Agile delivery experience and effective cross-functional collaboration.
• Excellent communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Technical leadership: steer the technical evolution of API integrations and standards.
• Team leadership: hire, mentor, coach, and develop engineers.
• Architecture & development: own system and integration architecture; contribute hands-on when needed.
• Engineering excellence: promote API design, testing, performance, security, maintainability.
• Cross-functional collaboration: align with Product, Backend, and Payments teams.
• Scalability & reliability: ensure scalable, well-documented solutions for global merchants.
• Technical mentorship: guide engineers in architecture and execution.
