Engineering Manager (Oil & Gas) - Remote Based

Location: Remote with site travel across Northern England and Scotland
Salary: £65,000 + 15% Bonus + Vehicle + Development + Death in Service + Enhanced Pension + Further Benefits

Are you from an electrical, controls, and instrumentation background looking to join a growing company where you can advance your career by playing a key role in their new in-house engineering team? This company is one of the UK's leading distributors of oil for both households and businesses. With nearly 100 depots across the UK, they are currently expanding and seeking an Engineering Manager to oversee their depots across Northern England and Scotland. In this role, you will manage breakdowns, faults, maintenance, and remedial works, working closely with the Head of Engineering on strategy and helping develop junior staff.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee breakdowns, faults, maintenance, and remedial works across depots in Northern England and Scotland
2. Collaborate with the Head of Engineering on strategic planning
3. Mentor and develop junior engineering staff
4. Travel across sites in Northern England and Scotland as required

Candidate Requirements:

• Background in electrical, controls, and instrumentation
• Experience in process and hazardous industries such as oil & gas, chemical, pharmaceutical, FMCG, etc.
• Full UK driving license and willingness to travel
• Located in Northern England or Scotland
