Engineering Manager (Mechanical / COMAH / ATEX)

£60,000 - £65,000 + Progression + 25 Days Holiday + Autonomy + Responsibility

Are you an Engineering Manager capable of assuming all mechanical responsibility for a 10-acre manufacturing site and looking to manage the success of 30 skilled technicians? Do you want to work for a business with heritage and prestige, where there will be ongoing development opportunities to further progress your career?

In this role, you will be assuming responsibility for all mechanical and civil maintenance work at a large COMAH manufacturing site. You'll be responsible for coordinating PPM and RM across the site and overseeing a team of 30 staff and external contractors.

This company is a long-standing manufacturer and operates a large site in North East Birmingham. They pride themselves on their safety record and camaraderie, with all teams being specialists in their own sectors. This role would suit an Engineering Manager from a Mechanical background looking for responsibility and autonomy in a managerial position.

The Role:

• PPM and RM on a variety of machinery, equipment, and site facilities
• Implementing a planned maintenance schedule and overseeing a large team
• Assisting with R&D and driving continuous improvement
