Job summary

Polkadotfrog is recruiting an Engineering Manager for our Colchester, Essex operation. The role combines technical leadership with people management, overseeing R&D and new product development while guiding Design Engineering teams.

You will work with Product, Design and Technical teams to resolve complex engineering challenges and deliver commercially viable solutions that meet cost, quality and manufacturability targets.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in engineering, ideally in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong CAD design and technical drawing capabilities.
• Experience guiding products from concept through to manufacturing.
• Proven ability to mentor and develop engineers and designers.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across the business and guide engineering teams.
• Lead, mentor and develop a small team of Engineers and Designers.
• Oversee R&D projects from concept through feasibility to production.
• Develop robust, commercially viable engineering solutions that meet cost targets.
