Our client, a well‑established engineering manufacturer, is seeking an Engineering Manager based in Nottinghamshire for a permanent, on‑site role. The position leads a multi‑disciplinary team and drives technical excellence across projects, ensuring on‑time delivery and adherence to quality standards.

The role involves cross‑functional collaboration with production, sales, and operations, plus budget oversight and stakeholder management.

Qualificações

• Degree qualified in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics or similar).
• Proven experience in an engineering leadership/management role within a technical environment.
• Strong background delivering complex engineering projects and managing cross-functional teams.
• Experience with engineering tools such as Altium, GitHub, and Jira.
• Solid understanding of engineering standards and regulatory requirements.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and resources.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on technical involvement.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, mentor, and develop a multi-disciplinary engineering team.
• Oversee engineering projects from concept to delivery, on time and within budget.
• Provide technical leadership and review designs and documentation.
• Collaborate with production, sales, quality and operations to ensure project execution.
• Drive continuous improvement to enhance quality, efficiency, and processes.
• Monitor KPIs, manage departmental budgets, allocate resources.
• Act as a technical contact for customers and support business development.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations and procedures.
