Job summary

Redline Group Ltd. is seeking an Engineering Manager in Nottinghamshire to lead a multi-disciplinary team, delivering complex projects from concept to delivery on-site at a fast-paced engineering facility.

You will drive technical excellence, manage resources and budgets, and collaborate with production, sales and quality to meet demanding client requirements. A degree in engineering and strong leadership are essential.

Qualifications

Degree qualified in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics) with electronics preferred.
Experience in an engineering leadership role within a technical environment.
Proven track record delivering complex projects and managing cross-functional teams.
Experience with engineering tools such as Altium, GitHub and Jira.

Responsibilities

Lead, mentor and develop a multi-disciplinary engineering team, fostering continuous improvement and accountability.
Oversee engineering projects from concept through to delivery, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery to required quality.
Provide technical leadership and review designs and documentation for compliance and quality.
Collaborate with production, sales, quality and operations to ensure effective project execution.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and engineering processes.
Monitor KPIs and manage departmental budgets for optimal resource allocation.
Act as a key technical contact for customers and stakeholders, supporting business development as needed.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations and internal procedures.
