Working Pattern: Full time

Working location: Raynesway (Derby) - Hybrid

As an Engineering manager, You will be part of the Infrastructure Engineering Intelligent Customer capability, deployed directly in a Major Project integrated team, acting as the key interface for all Engineering across the design and build lifecycle.

What you will be doing:

With this exciting opportunity you will get a chance to be involved with the following:

  • Manage all Engineering activity and provide technical oversight on a major programme across the full lifecycle. Be the key interface/single point of contact for the Infrastructure Engineering Intelligent Customer capability.

  • Lead technical requirements management and systems integration for a critical defence infrastructure project.

  • Oversee the technical assurance process, working with SMEs to ensure design and construction meets regulatory, operational, and business requirements.

  • Work closely with Design Authority, Digital, B&I, Quality, Construction, HSE and Project Management teams to ensure project is appropriately supported through seamless collaboration.

  • Develop project specific technical governance & assurance artefacts, working closely with partners & suppliers.

  • A strong Engineering background with the ability to apply expertise to an Infrastructure/Construction environment.

  • Have experience in requirements management and an understanding of systems engineering principles, including the V-Model or similar methodologies.

  • Be confident in coordinating multiple stakeholders, ensuring alignment between a variety of technical and functional disciplines.

  • Understand how complex infrastructure projects come together, maintaining technical oversight throughout the project lifecycle.

To work for Rolls-Royce Submarines, you need to hold a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you don’t currently already have this in place.
