Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering.
• Chartered Engineer status, or working towards.
• Strong commercial acumen with budgets, timelines and resources.
• Ability to collaborate across multiple disciplines in a multidisciplinary environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• In-depth knowledge of health, safety, and environmental standards in water/wastewater.
• Proficiency with design software such as AutoCAD or Revit.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and engineering delivery across water and wastewater projects.
• Oversee the full project lifecycle: surveys, design development, construction, commissioning, and handover.
• Coordinate with civil, process, electrical, and health & safety teams for integrated delivery.
• Guide procurement and equipment selection, considering lead times in the project programme.
• Coordinate external designers and subcontractors to meet project objectives and quality standards.
• Carry out site visits to monitor progress and resolve technical issues.
• Build and maintain client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure health, safety, and environmental compliance across delivery.
• Prepare project reports and status updates; flag key risks and milestones.
• Feed lessons learned into continuous improvement across the business.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
