Job description

On behalf of our manufacturing automation solutions providing client, we are recruiting for an Engineering Manager. Compensation range is $125-150K plus benefits, pension and bonuses.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide strong leadership and vision to an engineering design team numbering in excess of 15 professionals.
• Identify, evaluate, and implement advanced technologies and design methodologies.
• Lead process improvement initiatives and technology upgrades that optimize engineering workflows
• Stay up to date on emerging technologies that will advance engineered automation solutions for client applications.
• Oversee all design engineering activities, ensuring projects are delivered on time and on budget.
• Oversee engineering team hiring, onboarding, and performance management in collaboration with HR

The successful candidate will possess:

• College or university education and at least 5 years of automation industry experience.
• Minimum 5 years of leadership experience.
• Experience with engineering and delivering projects worth up to several Million dollars.
• Demonstrated ability to follow and improve processes where appropriate.
• Demonstrated effective communication and staff development skills
