Socium - Teams Done Differently is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a dynamic engineering squad in a fast-growing, product-led environment. You will champion agile practices, drive high-quality delivery and ensure smooth operational execution for our members.
You will collaborate with Product and Design, own sprint planning and incident response, and mentor engineers to grow. This hybrid role offers a £110k base salary plus benefits and a culture focused on wellbeing and performance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an Engineering Manager, leading teams of four or more.
- Strong coaching, one-to-ones and feedback to develop people.
- Deep experience with agile ceremonies and practices.
- Hands-on technical credibility with AWS and TypeScript.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach and motivate a high-performing engineering team.
- Own sprint planning, retrospectives and incident response alongside Product and Design.
- Champion operational excellence and a quality-first mindset.
- Guide technical design decisions in line with our architecture, while encouraging fresh thinking.
- Represent your team with stakeholders and connect their work to the bigger picture.
