Job summary

Airbnb in London is seeking an Engineering Manager for Guest & Host Services to lead a team of engineers, building hosting experiences at scale with reliability and balance. This is a hands-on leadership role with a focus on mentorship, career development, and inclusive team culture.

You will partner with Design, Product Management, and other engineering teams to ship features, drive technical excellence, and align with business goals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of engineering management experience, with 9+ years of relevant software development industry experience in a fast paced tech environment.
• Deep expertise with backend systems and complex data modeling in large-scale consumer applications
• Excellent communication and presentation skills tuned for both technical or non-technical audiences
• End-to-end, product-oriented mentality that transcends team boundaries and helps find globally optimal solutions
• Good judgment in making tradeoffs to balance short-term business needs with long-term technical quality
• Strong collaboration skills, able to work effectively and find common ground with a wide range of teams who may have conflicting goals and priorities

The base pay range shown below is annualized, is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
