Job summary

BAE Systems Digital Intelligence in Gloucester is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the development of best-in-class products, coordinating multi‑disciplinary teams and guiding delivery of complex software solutions.

The role is based onsite 4–5 days a week, with responsibility for direct reports, resource planning and programme delivery. A strong background in FPGA and C++, plus proven project leadership and the ability to qualify for UK security clearance, are essential.

Salary: £40,000 - 40,000 per year

Requirements:

• Technically credible, although not hands on, with FPGA and C++.
• Product delivery experience.
• Experience managing software engineering projects.
• Ability to qualify for full, unrestricted UK Security Clearance.
• Must be a UK national, either from birth or naturalised, and a permanent UK resident for the last 5 years.
• Due to security clearance requirements, dual nationals and non-UK nationals cannot be considered for this role.
