Job summary

2 Sisters Food Group is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead the engineering and maintenance function at the Gunstones bakery site in Dronfield. You will drive engineering excellence, develop a high-performing team and lead continuous improvement initiatives to impact site performance and business success.

In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll work closely with Production and Operations to shape a proactive maintenance culture, improve asset reliability and deliver safe, reliable operations

Qualifications

• Experience as Engineering Manager or similar in FMCG/food manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical or electrical engineering background.
• Experience leading engineering teams and driving improvements.
• Knowledge of CMMS, maintenance planning, asset management and reliability engineering.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of 17-20 engineers and Apprentices.
• Drive health, safety and compliance across engineering activities.
• Manage maintenance planning, PM/CMMS compliance and continuous improvement.
• Analyse downtime, perform root cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Lead engineering projects, asset management plans and reliability improvements.
• Manage engineering budgets, contractors and SLAs/KPIs.
