And what if you could develop your engineering team to enhance their skills, passing on all your technical knowledge to both experienced technicians and eager-to-learn apprentices alike?

We are looking for an experienced engineer to join and lead our engineering team at our Aldershot depot.

You will be leading a team of 30 professionals skilled with tools like spanners, mops, and paint brushes—each vital to our success. Your role involves supporting, advising, and managing the team to maintain and repair our fleet of 71 buses, with opportunities to oversee our buildings and plant equipment.

This is a key role in our depot. You will ensure vehicles meet high standards, managing resources, stock, and personnel. Responsibilities include ordering, inventory management, recruitment, training, and health & safety. We will support your development to excel as an Engineering Manager.

If you wish to advance, we support progression to roles like Engineering Director, providing exposure and growth opportunities.

Requirements include experience in related fields such as trucking, light commercial, or rail industries, and some management experience, regardless of team size. Experience in a bus background is not mandatory but advantageous.
