Job summary

Amazon UK Services Ltd. is seeking a hands-on BI leader to drive data-driven decisions across the fulfilment network. You will mentor engineers, design scalable data infrastructures and partner with stakeholders to deliver insights that optimize promises and cost.

As BI Manager, you will own data models, ETL/ELT processes, and collaboration with data scientists and product managers to shape impactful projects at scale within AWS data technologies.

Qualifications

• Experience with large-scale data warehouses and BI systems.
• Experience translating data into actionable business insights.
• Leadership experience managing BI/data teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of BI engineers, data engineers and software engineers.
• Establish team practices, roles and professional development opportunities.
• Build and maintain data infrastructure to answer business questions with data using data engineering best practices.
• Define data engineering processes leveraging AWS services to optimize accessibility, redundancy, data integrity, cost and storage.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business and technical requirements and drive smooth product delivery.
• Interface with other data teams to extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources using AWS data technologies.
• Lead the technical design and implementation of the data infrastructure.
• Design and manage data audit, quality, and reconciliation processes with stakeholders.
