Murphy is recruiting for an Engineering Manager (CRE) to lead civil engineering activities on the TransPennine Route Upgrade project, overseeing bridge renewal and construction civils from Stalybridge to Huddersfield. You will manage day-to-day civil engineering works, resources and stakeholder engagement on a large electrification programme.
The role requires CRE experience in railway environments, a BEng/MEng, strong rail project exposure, and proficiency in Excel and AutoCAD.

Contractor’s Responsible Engineer (CRE) Civils Construction – Stalybridge to Huddersfield. – Transpennine Route Upgrade East and West.
On a large multidisciplinary electrification project Murphy is recruiting for an experienced CRE-Construction Civils to deliver Bridge Replacement within Blockades, Footbridge Construction, Lineside Ancillary Civils Infrastructure and Culvert remedial works. To be successful in this role you will be confident in managing multiple stakeholders and relish implementing engineering strategies.
Overall responsibility for all engineering activities both on and off site for the business unit, including the day-to-day management of all engineering activities and the appointment of suitable resource to satisfactorily complete those works.
