Accountabilities:

• Lead development of a secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud platform leveraging AWS and GCP.
• Drive implementation of Kubernetes clusters and cloud-native services that emphasize standardization and efficiency.
• Empower development teams by building tools that promote self-service infrastructure deployment and management.
• Implement frameworks such as DORA and SPACE to track and enhance developer productivity.
• Oversee a robust 24/7 monitoring strategy to meet service reliability and performance objectives.
• Collaborate across teams to define cloud strategy, deliver key business projects, and optimize cloud spend using FinOps practices.
• Mentor a distributed team of engineers, promoting a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering or cloud platform roles, including at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
• Deep expertise with Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP), and databases such as MySQL, DynamoDB, or Cassandra.
• Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform or Pulumi, and observability tools such as Datadog or CloudWatch.
• Experience in implementing AI-powered tools for workflow optimization and operational improvements.
• Proven success in setting up scalable, SLO-driven monitoring strategies in 24/7 environments.
• Ability to manage distributed teams, foster innovation, and drive results in a collaborative, inclusive setting.
• Strong communication and mentorship skills, with a commitment to team growth and diversity.
