You will coach engineers, drive agile practices, and align engineering efforts with business goals, balancing speed and long-term architecture while fostering growth and mentorship.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering experience.
• 3+ years in a people manager/lead role.
• Experience leading in an Agile environment.
• Strong communication with stakeholders.
• Practical AI development experience.

Responsibilities

• Providing coaching, mentorship, and career development.
• Optimising team velocity by prioritising workload and removing blockers.
• Collaborating on product strategy with the Product Manager.
• Managing product backlog prioritisation with the PM.
• Recruiting and hiring great new team members.
• Providing performance feedback and evaluations.
• Advising teams on technical difficulties, scalability and security.
• Staying current with development tools and technologies.
