As a key part of the site management team of BYK UK, the role reports to the Site Operations Manager.
This site-based position is responsible for leading and shaping site engineering to meet production, maintenance and CAPEX objectives whilst providing support to other site functions and liaising with external stakeholders where accomplished stakeholder management skills is a must.
This role demands professional engineering management capabilities, strong leadership and team management skills. It involves making decisions and the ability to understand complex situations, simplifying and shaping solutions providing clarity to others.
This role will initially focus on a critical evaluation of the status quo, developing and delivering a cost-effective and efficient maintenance strategy fit for now and in the future.
Role modelling behaviours from the front, the Engineering Manager will drive the highest standards of environment, health & safety and quality standards ensuring compliance and legal obligations are met.
Ensuring compliance with company policies & procedures and a focus on continuous improvement, training and innovation to align with site objectives is also a key part of this role
