Engineering Manager

Trident Maritime Systems UK Limited is a British company based in Poole, Dorset. We are a global provider of Lighting Systems and Engineering Solutions worldwide.

As we endeavour to grow, we are recruiting for an Engineering Manager to join our team.

The successful candidate will join a company that values its stakeholders while proudly contributing to the global defence market. We are renowned for the development and manufacture of innovative, bespoke Consoles, Racks and Enclosures, Display, ICCP (Signature Management), and Lighting Solutions.

This role will be responsible for the management and overall performance of the Engineering Department, ensuring it is run effectively and efficiently. This includes, but is not limited to:

1. Effective management of engineering resources to meet the time, cost, and specification objectives of engineering products.
2. Performance management, training, and recruitment of suitably qualified and experienced personnel.

We are ideally seeking someone who can demonstrate a proven record in:

1. Leadership management of an engineering department.
2. Exploration of opportunities to increase efficiency, cost reduction, and employment of new technologies.
3. Understanding of engineering and project management principles.
4. Qualified in Design or can demonstrate an understanding of Design.
5. Understanding of product life cycle and new product development.
