My client, based in a northern US state, is seeking an Engineering Manager.

This leadership role involves overseeing engineering and manufacturing functions to ensure the successful implementation of projects and continuous improvements.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in engineering, team management, and project leadership.

Responsibilities:
  1. Lead and support the engineering team in manufacturing, process improvements, and equipment management.
  2. Manage project budgets, timelines, and department performance.
  3. Foster a positive work environment and build strong relationships with team members.
  4. Guide the team through product launches and changes.
  5. Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  6. Maintain safety standards.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or Engineering Technology) with at least 10 years of engineering experience and 5-8 years in a management role.
  2. Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality control, and project management.
  3. Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Kaizen is a plus.
