Engineering Manager – Electronics – Derbyshire/Notts – LM1219g

Salary: Competitive

Job Term: Full Time/Permanent

Outline: My client, a leader in Electronic Test & Measurement, is seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to join their growing team. Based near Nottingham and reporting to the Managing Director, you will oversee all technical aspects of manufacturing.

You will manage a small engineering team, handle NPI, process and manufacturing improvements, and coordinate subcontracting and outsourcing. Additionally, you will support staff training and development, and manage and develop the calibration team. This includes achieving ISO17025 accreditation, establishing a new calibration lab, and enhancing calibration throughput.

You will also oversee quality management, maintaining ISO9001:2015 UKAS accreditation, and improving day-to-day quality through staff training. Ensuring products meet international standards and managing the EU service centre are also key responsibilities.

Qualifications: A PhD or Masters in Electronic Engineering or a related field is expected.
