Job summary

MacGregor Black is partnering with a FMCG manufacturer on the search for an Engineering Manager. This is a perm role based in Derbyshire.

You will lead engineering teams and establish robust processes to enable production to hit targets, while driving continuous improvement and cost reductions. The role requires 7+ years of leadership in FMCG manufacturing, an engineering degree (HND/BSc), and strong knowledge of SAP and IT systems.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Engineering leadership experience in FMCG manufacturing.
• Project management experience; qualification preferred.
• Knowledge of SAP and IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Create a robust engineering process that will allow production to hit targets.
• Pursue and demand high levels of workmanship and a zero-defect performance level as the only acceptable standard in all areas.
• Continuously drive improvement initiatives to reduce running cost and increase efficiency.
• Develop a world-class maintenance organisation at the site by continually improving OEE, addressing quality issues through technical solutions and improving the standards of maintenance workmanship.

What We're Looking For:

• HND or BSc in an Engineering discipline.
• 7+ years of Engineering leadership experience; with exposure to FMCG manufacturing environments.
• Efficient in delivering objectives and key measures.
• Project management experience, ideally with a recognised qualification.
• Knowledge in SAP and other IT systems.

Salary up to £80K + package
