Position: Engineering Manager

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Farnsworth Group is seeking an Engineering Manager to manage the design, development, and implementation of process piping systems for various projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering and project management, with experience in the semiconductor industry.

Job Activities:

1. Manage the design and development of HVAC systems, mechanical utility systems, exhaust, critical environments, and mechanical piping systems for various projects in commercial and industrial environments.
2. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
4. Provide technical guidance and support to team members.
5. Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets.
6. Identify and mitigate project risks.
7. Ensure timely completion of projects.
8. Perform site visits, client meetings, and coordinate with the project team.

Specific Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 12+ years of engineering work experience.
• Design experience of Process systems including high purity utilities, wastewater, gases, process mechanical systems such as process cooling water, compressed air and vacuum systems, and abated air systems.
• Design experience of Mechanical systems including HVAC, chillers, boilers, plumbing, and exhaust systems; steam system design experience is highly desirable.
• Experience with piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs) and Sequence of Operations (SOO).
• Semiconductor process knowledge working with wafer facilities.
• Professional Engineering License (PE) strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, Bluebeam Revu, Outlook, Revit, and AutoCAD.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

• Positive work ethic and ability to travel.
