Job summary

Stallion Recruitment Ltd seeks an Engineering Manager to oversee and deliver technical services across a large mixed-use campus, including M&E plant, lifts, access control and CCTV contracts. You will report to the Technical Services Director and work with the Campus Estate Services Team to ensure compliant, high-quality, efficient estate solutions.

Role Overview

Engineering Manager

The Engineering Manager will be responsible for overseeing and delivering a range of technical services across a new and large mixed-use campus. This includes the effective management of all M&E plant, Lifts, Access Control, and CCTV contracts, ensuring compliance, performance, and value for money.

You will be the right had person to the Technical Services Director, and you will work on the planning and execution of technical project works in collaboration with the wider Campus Estate Services Team, supporting the delivery of high-quality, efficient, and innovative estate solutions.

Key Functions of the Engineering Manager

• Technical Oversight - Oversee the management of Building Services M&E systems and ensure compliance with Health, Safety and Environmental Standards.
• Partnership Development: Engage with service providers to foster a collaborative approach in managing contracts Lifts, Access and CCTV.
• Occupier Relations: Liaise with and build positive relationships with the estate's tenants, enabling a union of mutual respect and cooperation.
• Contract Management: Effectively manage, monitor performance, manage relationships, and administering contracts to ensure work meets contractual obligations.
• Performance Monitoring: Conduct regular meetings with service providers, ensuring that KPIs and reports are completed accurately and on time.
• Contract Review: Periodically assess service contracts to ensure they are fit for purpose and procure services in line with company policy as necessary.
• Fit Out Oversight: Work with tenants and their consultant's providing guidance and enabling resources.
• Compliance Oversight: Take responsibility for compliance with statutory and mandatory regulations in health, safety, environmental, and energy management.
• Technology Advocate: Promote the use and integration of FM technologies to enhance The Campus's operations and their use by operational teams.

Experience of the Engineering Manager

Proven track record in strategic and operation engineering contracts management within large property portfolios. Trophy building mobilisation experience is essential.

Knowledge

Comprehensive knowledge building regulations, health & safety legislation and compliance and environmental standards applicable to mixed use tenures.

Skills

Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels within the organisation.

This is a busy commercial facility. You will have the support of a dedicated contract admin support and will supported by the Account Manager for the contract who is a qualified Electrician off the tools.

Full portfolio management and administrative support.

The hours are Mon-Fri 07:00-16:00 or 08:00-17:00
