Job description

Our client is a successful and well-established manufacturer. They are looking for an Engineering Manager to coordinate and manage the engineering team, along with involvement with engineering projects.

NOTE The start date for this role is likely to be in September / October 2025, so if you have a 3 month notice period please still apply.

PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF:

• You come from a manufacturing / production / factory background.
• You have a HND / HNC / Degree in an Engineering discipline.
• You hold an IOSH Health & Safety qualification / certificate.
• You have managed teams of at least 15 people.
• You have dealt with CapEx budgets of over GBP2 million.
• Ideally you have experience with Agility CMMS.
• You drive and are able to travel to Chippenham within an hour maximum (applications from people who live outside this area will not be contacted, i.e. relocations will not be accepted).

Job Details:

• Salary depending on experience (to be discussed if your application is shortlisted).
• Hours of work: Normal daytime hours, with flexibility required as needed. Monday to Friday.
• Access to a Pool car + Other benefits.

Responsibilities include:

• Managing a team of around 30 direct reports, including Maintenance Engineers and other relevant staff.
• Responsibility for annual CapEx budgets.
• Enforcing compliance to ISO1401.
• Look into, and take action with continuous improvements to the plant and processes.
• Using Agility CMMS.
• Be actively involved in engineering projects.
• This role is site based in Chippenham, however there may be occasional travel to other company sites when required.
