Job description

We are looking for an Engineering Manager who wants to work in a diverse role where no two days are the same.

Due to an increase in upcoming projects, there is now a need for an Engineering Manager to join this highly successful and forward‑thinking organisation.

Responsibilities
  • Establish and manage site and priority escalations to ensure an effective response.
  • Ensure that all PPM and Reactive calls are completed within contract SLA's and KPI's.
  • To manage and develop a professional and effective operational team of 9 staff ensuring objectives are set, monitored and achieved and that all employees are appraised and have a personal development plan.
  • Lead by example with regards to health and safety, compliance with statutory and contractual legislative requirements.
  • To support the development of new works and opportunities, ensuring continuous growth.
  • To understand and complete all work related documentation accurately and on time to all levels of management as required.
  • To manage all necessary induction, operational risk scenarios, and safety training requirements across the areas of responsibility.
  • Be proactive and lead on ECC environmental initiatives.
  • Lead on Business Continuity Planning.
Qualifications
  • Extensive experience within Facilities Management or equivalent.
  • Holding relevant accreditations or qualifications to support daily operations.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Ability to network and liaise with all individuals onsite.
